Corolla or Almera for Gambian roads?

Two of the most common used imports, compared for local roads, parts and resale.

Both are everywhere in Serrekunda and Kanifing for the same reason: parts are easy to find and mechanics know them well. The Corolla generally holds its resale value better and handles rougher road edges with a bit more confidence; the Almera is usually cheaper to buy and just as cheap to run day to day.

If you're buying to keep for years, the Corolla's stronger resale usually wins. If you want the lowest total cost right now and plan to sell again in a couple of years, the Almera is the harder one to lose money on.
